Plumbing

The small water stuff, fixed before it becomes big water stuff.

Most plumbing calls are not emergencies. They are a faucet that drips, a spigot that sprays sideways, a toilet that runs all night. Too small for a plumber to prioritize, too annoying to live with. That size of job is exactly what I do, at a flat number you see before I start.

What I handle

  • Faucets, kitchen, bath, and laundry, repaired or swapped
  • Outdoor spigots and hose bibs that drip or stick
  • Toilets, running, rocking, weak flushing, or replaced outright
  • Garbage disposals, cleared or swapped
  • Supply lines and seized shutoff valves under sinks and behind toilets
  • Showerheads, sprayers, and handheld kits
  • Slow sink drains and leaking p-traps
  • Dishwasher and ice maker hookups at existing lines
  • Bathroom caulking, tubs and sinks resealed
  • Kitchen fixes, everything past the sink itself

Where the line is

I am not a plumber and I do not pretend to be one. Repipes, water heaters, gas lines, sewer and main drain work, and leaks inside walls are licensed plumber territory. If your job lives there I will say so and point you to the right pro. I am not a licensed contractor. California law limits my jobs to under $1,000 total for labor and materials, on work that needs no building permit.

The other side of the toolbox: Electrical, Carpentry, Exterior & Yard. And every city I work in is on the service areas page.
