Palm Desert is the middle of the valley in every sense, condos near El Paseo, family streets, and a lot of folks enjoying retirement in the 55 plus communities nearby. Different houses, same reality: a list of small jobs nobody wants to climb a ladder for. That list is my whole trade.

For older residents, I do the ladder work and the crawling around: batteries in high smoke detectors, filters, stuck windows, anything that involves a step stool you would rather not be on. Family members can arrange these visits from out of town.

I am not a licensed contractor. California law limits my jobs to under $1,000 total for labor and materials, on work that needs no building permit. Anything bigger, or anything needing a permit, gas, or main panel work, is licensed contractor territory and I will point you to the right pro.
