A lot of Palm Springs housing went up in the fifties and sixties, and those mid century homes are the whole charm of the place. They also come with sixty year old doors that stick, original hardware nobody makes anymore, and walls that do not take a screw the way new drywall does. These are exactly the houses I like working on, and I treat the originals with respect.

I am not a licensed contractor. California law limits my jobs to under $1,000 total for labor and materials, on work that needs no building permit. Anything bigger, or anything needing a permit, gas, or main panel work, is licensed contractor territory and I will point you to the right pro.
