The fastest facelift a room can get.
Swapping a dated fixture for something you actually like changes a room more than most furniture does, and it is a small job when the wiring already exists. I swap fixtures at existing boxes all over the valley.
What I swap
- Flush mounts, pendants, and chandeliers at existing ceiling boxes
- Bathroom vanity bars and wall sconces
- Exterior porch and garage lights, plus dusk to dawn sensors
- Dimmer and smart switch swaps at existing switch locations
- Dead fixtures diagnosed, sometimes it is just the socket
- Tall entry fixtures, I bring the ladder
What it costs
One flat number per fixture, smaller per unit when I do several in one visit, and fixture swaps live far below the $1,000 line. Send photos of the old fixture and the box for the new one and the quote comes back fast.
I am not a licensed contractor. California law limits my jobs to under $1,000 total for labor and materials, on work that needs no building permit. New boxes where no fixture exists, new circuits, or panel work is licensed electrician territory, and I will tell you straight if your project needs one.
Other jobs I take all the time: TV Mounting, Ceiling Fans, Faucets, Toilet Repair. One visit can cover several, and I work across the whole valley, see where I work.

FAQ
Customers frequently ask
Can you hang a heavy chandelier?
Yes, if the ceiling box is rated for the weight, and I check that before hanging. If the box needs a stronger brace at the same spot, that is part of the job.
My porch light died. Fixture or wiring?
Usually the fixture, sockets corrode fast in desert heat. I test the box first, and if power is fine a new fixture solves it. No power at the box means an electrician, and I will say so.
Do you install smart switches?
Yes, swapped at existing switch locations and paired to your phone before I leave. Dimmers, timers, and motion sensors too.
